Construction Safety


Our site inspections cover many aspects. Documentation and registers will be inspected and we are able to supply a basic documentation pack at the start of any contract. Test and operators certificates will be checked. There will be discussion and help with risk assessments, method statements, CoSHH assessments and the overall development of the construction phase health and safety plan. Advice will be given on any legal requirements and the practical interpretation of current regulations. And finally, an inspection will be carried out of work in progress, including scaffolds and excavation works, lifting appliances, tackle and ladders, to assist compliance with legislation.

Our Safety Advisers will visit as many sites as they can each day and will produce a full report on each site, identifying specific items that need action or further discussion. Each Safety Adviser will request authority to stop work if it is considered that there is a serious and immediate risk of an accident occurring.
